Students opting for the 业务 administration major must take the courses listed above in the Business Professional core and 业务 elective courses to total a minimum of 48 credit hours in 业务. Business administration students are encouraged to focus their 业务 interests through the selection of minors offered by the College of Business, as well as minors within the College of Liberal 艺术 and Sciences. The 艺术 and Sciences Core courses, general education requirements, 艺术与科学 electives, plus one upper-level course in 经济学 to total a minimum of 60 credit hours, must also be completed.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree is composed of professional core courses shared by all majors, 业务 courses specific to each major, 业务 electives totaling 48 credits in 业务, 艺术与科学, and general education core courses specified for 业务, and liberal arts electives to reach a minimum of 60 credits of liberal arts courses (as required for all Bachelor of Science degrees). Depending on the major, you will take additional electives to reach the total of 120 credit hours required for graduation. You are also required to:
- Complete a minimum of 30 credit hours in upper division 业务 courses
- Maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average overall
- One Personal 健身 course (credits not included in the 120 credits required for graduation) and one 健康 Course
- Satisfy the University's Global Perspectives requirement
After your first year in the BSBA program is complete, we urge all 业务 students to gain the valuable, real-world experience only an internship can offer. Past students have interned with Fortune 500 companies, 曲棍球基金会, 宗教慈善组织, 音乐公司, 还有很多其他的.
- Most internships occur during the summer months between semesters
- Each credit hour you’ll earn equals 45 hours of work; you'll figure out the actual schedule with your site supervisor

- Grades are assessed based on complete, timely submission of all required internship documentation, with the final learning report weighted most heavily
Business Administration as a double major is available to any non-College of Business student. To earn a Business Administration double major, take all courses listed below, totaling 62 credits.

You can greatly enhance your career opportunities by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in one year after completing your bachelor's degree in 业务 administration.
This streamlined and competitive opportunity allows our undergraduate students to earn both their undergraduate degree and Master of Business Administration in an accelerated format (4+1).
The 业务 administration minor for non-College of Business students is designed to not only serve as a minor for non-College of Business students but also as Pre-MBA program for students who choose to pursue graduate study in the field of 业务.
The minor is known as the "4+1" program, where you can obtain the Business Administration minor and then continue to the 阿尔弗雷德MBA课程 and be able to complete it in one year. The minor is an additional twenty-eight (28) credit hours for non-College of Business students, totaling nine courses in accounting, 业务, 经济学, 金融, 管理, 和市场营销.

A maximum of 30 credits in courses offered by the College of Business may be taken by non-业务 students. Satisfaction of this minor fulfills all foundation requirements for the Alfred University MBA.
Completion of the 4+1 undergraduate coursework does not automatically admit a student into the MBA program.
At least half of your coursework for the minors in our College of Business must be completed at Alfred University. A grade point average of a "C" (2.0) or better must be attained in courses submitted for completion of the minor.
